Hi! I’m Julie!
I am a wife to my high school sweetheart since 2007, and a stay at home momma to B (3) and K (1).
I am a born again believer who knows the power of God’s love and feels blessed to serve Him.
I am a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, and my dream job next to staying home with my kids would be as an adoption worker.
Several months after our son was born, I was dealing with some pretty bad anxiety. I wrote about it here. It is still something I occasionally struggle with, but I have been learning what the warning signs are for me. It’s not a constant battle like it was before either, and I am so thankful for that.
In my spare time (which is not much since we have 2 toddlers!) I am a photographer, blogger, farmer’s wife, online shopper, and self-proclaimed technology geek- but my most important role is that of wife and mom. I drink entirely too much iced coffee and iced tea, and my Tervis goes with me pretty much everywhere. I also have a thing for scarves and coats. And gummy bears.
