This weekend at the Influence conference was amazing. Life changing. Perspective altering.
Too dramatic?
But seriously. Being in a group of women that all want to live their life according to God’s calling and BE an influence for Him? That is some powerful stuff. And the knowledge I gained here means nothing if I am hiding my influence from others.
The sessions, both life and strategy, were so great– so informative, and really started to reignite my passion for the way I use this space. I am excited to grow, dream, plan– not only here but for my photography business as well.
I got to hang out with this girl, Rebecca from Better Life Bags. Check her stuff out, you guys. She is sitting on the cusp of something so amazing with her business, and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
There were late night pow wow sessions, where we got together, talked about the direction for our blogs/business, drank way too much iced tea/coffee, laughed, and worked. My friend Chrissy got an idea to redo her blog and I can’t wait to see her vision unfold. She truly is a light for the Lord.
There were dinners and conversations with this girl. Aimee, I am so glad we FINALLY met and I can’t wait for what is in store for you!
There was a hilarious stop at the Vera Bradley store– and yes, Aimee, I am SO glad we took this photo!
There was dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with some amazing friends. And the nachos? SO good.
After I got home, I tweeted that I missed the constant supply of coffee that was outside the workshop rooms. And Sarah Matheny (who was a speaker) felt the same way.
I feel like I come away from there with a vision, a to do list– a better understanding of WHY and HOW I use this space. I can’t wait to process all my thoughts and ideas (and there are a LOT of them!) and see what happens. I want God to mold me in this space and in my real life, to be an influence for Him.
