I don’t think it really hit me that Kenley is 3/4 of a year old until I got the monthly sticker out, and it was the very last sheet. Sad.
I know, I cut her head off in this photo. I got bumped by Brayden. Her face was too cute to scrap the entire picture!
We officially have a mover on her hands. Kenley mastered crawling over the weekend and there is no turning back. For a good week at least she would get up and just rock back and forth, and I could tell she wasn’t far from putting 2 and 2 together. Nothing is safe, Brayden is NOT thrilled about her latest skill, and I need to somehow put padding along the fireplace. Poor girl ends up over there and falls, thus the slight bruise on her cheek in these photos. Poor baby.
Kenley has 4 teeth with 2 more just about to pop through. She had her first (double) ear infection this past month and is a little piggy at the dinner table. Girlfriend likes to eat. Current favorites are peas, carrots, blueberry puree, crackers, whole wheat bread, puffs, cheerios, yogurt, and applesauce. She still eats cereal mixed with formula and then pureed foods on top, but I have a feeling it won’t be long and she will be eating whatever we are eating!
Her personality is really starting to shine. She smiles a TON, has a hundred little faces that she does, and she’s not afraid to speak her mind already. She gets excited about certain things (puffs, Bubble Guppies- so I can shower without too much distraction, and Brayden’s toys) and doesn’t really love other things (getting in the car seat, not getting to eat fruit snacks with Brayden).
She’s so easy going, but I think as she gets older we will have our hands full. She gets this twinkle in her eye, and I think she might even top Brayden in the ornery department. I will keep you posted on that one!
Kenley Ann, you get more fun on a daily basis! You sure know how to keep us on our toes. We love you so much!
