33 down, 7 to go. I had an appointment Tuesday and Dr. says no more traveling! I was pretty puffy when we got back from NE. I have another sonogram on the 30th to check his measurements again to see if we are still on track with my original due date of 8/5. I am excited that we get to see our little boy one more time! She also said to have my bags packed just in case…that got B’s attention! You just never know, and since we live an hour from the hospital, better safe than sorry.
I have developed restless leg in my left leg at night. Very, very annoying. So I am eating lots more potassium and calcium, and taking supplements, just to help that. Getting sleep is also an issue these days. I seem to be up at 3am every night, wide awake. Thankfully, I am not working right now so I can go back to bed and sleep until I feel like getting up. In another 2 weeks, I will be working for my parents part-time until baby arrives, so I am using this time off to my advantage. Other than that, I am feeling pretty good. Just tired all the time like I was 1st trimester…but I can’t complain. Oh, and I drink de-caf iced tea like it’s water. For some reason, I crave it.
We worked in his room a bit today. B hung a memory board that I have some sonogram pictures in. My Curious George prints should be arriving any day now. I used some gift cards from the baby shower and ordered the glider chair. It’s coming together! My biggest frustration right now is some form of shelving for toys/books, so we are keeping our eyes peeled for something great. Brandon’s gma has an old end table that we might clean up to keep next to the chair. Just some finishing touches and we will be all set! We are both SO excited. I am starting to get just a little nervous but I think I will be just fine. B has been great through this whole thing. When the bookcase I bought the other day ended up clashing big time with everything else, I just felt defeated- but he assured me that baby boy won’t be looking at the bookcase. It was just what I needed to hear.
